Tuesday, 6th of Septmeber...last month I shot the wedding of Scott and Charlene, a very sweet...loved up couple from Leven, Fife. They married at Kilconquhar Castle, we rushed off for a quick half an hour down to the harbour but the annual water sports festival was on that day so Scott and Charlene had a great audience! We got some lovely shots, and the weather held up just in time for their evening guests arriving. Was a great day, lovely venue, lovely people, gorgeous bride and groom, what more could you ask for! Another success story for Kilconquhar Castle, the day went without a hitch, they really are spot on! Scott and Charlene I wish you all the best for the future x

Monday, 15th of August...oh how time flies when you are enjoying yourself! So a couple of Saturday's ago (25th of June!) was the turn of Steph and Doug... Mr and Mrs Potter! Who were married at the gorgeous Kilconquhar Castle, near Elie, I love this venue so much, the amazing surroundings, to the great, friendly staff, and brilliant food. The day went perfectly thanks to Stephanie's organised ways, she had thought of everything, down to her grannies crystal necklace which was draped around her flowers, it looked fantastic, and am sure a lot of brides will be following suit. We had a brilliant day, with plenty of sunshine, and even found time to nip down to the harbour and get some great shots on the beach in their amazing car (one of my fave classics...a beauford) which the locals loved too! Congratulations to the happy couple, wish you all the best for the future, glad I could be part of your special day. To view Steph and Doug's photos click here .

Friday, 13th of May...a couple of weeks ago I was invited along to a tea party...my very first tea party!Held by 'Morven Studios' an amazing duo based in Kirkcaldy, Jen and Siobhan bake the most amazing cakes, I have never seen so much detail in a cake before! As well as designing wedding stationary!Everything is made by their very own hands, even an orchid (which I thought was real!!) They are very up-to-date, most of their recent work is based around the vintage theme, using lots of lace and floral prints, their eye for detail is second to none, the idea behind the tea party was to invite brides along to taste the cakes that they made and also view their stationary if they had opted for this service too.
I would highly recommend 'Morven Studios' who offer a truly professional service.

Friday, 1st of October...wow!..its October!!! A few weeks ago I shot the wedding of two of my very best friends Lori and Brian, they had an amazing day for their wedding at The Dean Park Hotel which was just brilliant, Lori had spent hours (days...weeks...months!) planning every little detail, and it certainly paid off! Their colours were deep purple, bridesmaids wore gorgeous Dessy Dresses, and all of the guys wore kilts which looked great! In the dining room the colours were carried through but then the theme emerged...Vegas! Lucky Lori and Brian honeymooned in Las Vegas so decided to name the tables after some of the famous hotels...Bellagio, Ceasar Palace, etc. To view Lori and Brians wedding photos just click here. or click the photo.

Sunday, 22nd of August...yesterday I shot the wedding of Jennifer and Craig, whom I first met over two years ago...not long after they were engaged, I knew then that they were going to plan the wedding dreams are made of. They were both very hands on with the wedding tasks, even making their own stationary - which was absolutely gorgeous, and tied in perfectly with the theme of their wedding...white, olive green and orchids, the guys were very smart in the penguin style suit jackets with pin stripe trousers and grey top hats and gloves, with olive green ties, the same colour as Lisa's (Bridesmaid) dress. They exchanged vows in the beautiful setting that is Dunfermline Abbey, we stole a few sneaky shots their before the newlyweds spun off in their princess limousine, to the Keavil House in Crossford. Where we were greeted by Christine, she is an absolute star, and my favourite MC! The speeches were just amazing!...well done Michael! But it was the Groom that had me in tears, his speech was from the heart...and fraser, if your listening (or reading!) thats exactly what I want you to say! Jennifer and Craig...may you lead the happy life you both deserve. Have a great honeymoon in Gran Canaria, see you in a few weeks!
